This article presents an analysis of the effectiveness indicators of certain technical and tactical techniques in athletes engaged in judo. It was established that shortcomings on the part of the coaches arose in teaching wrestlers the technical method of gripping. Nevertheless, these off-balancing techniques are warmly received by the athletes, because these techniques are easier to apply and sharply reduce the opponent's defence.
