This article analyses the influence of external factors, including temperature, humidity and external electromagnetic fields, on the metrological indicators of semiconductor methane detection sensors. In the course of the research, such indicators as the sensitivity of the sensor, the response time and the error level were assessed on a theoretical and experimental basis. The results obtained serve as a scientific and practical basis for increasing the reliability of methane gas detection systems and for improving their application in the fields of industrial and environmental monitoring.
