When thyroid disease is superimposed in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, the character of the course of the disease changes in a distinctive way. At the same time, although the state of the hormonal systems and their connections with RA have been considered, precise data in this field have not been systematised to date. For this reason, serious clarification of this field is required.
