The article analyzes the results of the diagnosis and treatment of 315 victims with thermal inhalation injury. The studies showed that a timely objective assessment of the severity of thermal inhalation injury and the prediction of the development of tracheobronchial and pulmonary complications is an important component in diagnosis and treatment and in prescribing adequate intensive therapy. The algorithm used for the diagnosis and treatment of thermal inhalation injury in patients made it possible to shorten the treatment period of patients by 10.6-2.7 bed-days and to reduce mortality from 24.3±1.3% in 2013 to 8.4±1.5% in 2018, and to reduce pulmonary complications in this group by a factor of 4.
