This article deals with the development of an algorithm and a software package for multipurpose automated photo and video recording of vehicles moving on motor roads, and the opinions and considerations of researchers on this topic have been studied in depth. One of the main directions for increasing the efficiency of vehicle movement on roads and ensuring its safety is connected with the formation of intelligent transport systems and the introduction of intelligent technologies in the intellectual sphere; the urgency of this issue in our country is determined by the fact that the complex systems introduced on the basis of the scientific research conducted in this field are not sufficient for solving the problems of these branches, by the slow growth of the global infrastructure as a factor hindering the adoption of ICT based on innovative technologies in the branches of the field, by the fact that the main attention is directed at the fines levied for violations of the traffic rules, and by the high costs of introducing a complex system. It is also envisaged that problems in other fields will be solved through the development of the infrastructure.
