Annotatsiya

In this work, a hygienic assessment of the effects of electromagnetic fields (EMF) generated by power lines (HVPL) on the population living in residential areas is carried out. The potential risks to human health associated with exposure to EMF at various power levels and frequency ranges are being investigated, as well as regulations and standards governing the permissible levels of these fields in residential and rural areas are being analyzed. Special attention is paid to radiation safety issues, the effects of EMF on the nervous system, cardiovascular and immune systems, as well as on the risk of developing cancer. As part of the work, modern methods of EMF measurement and control are considered, recommendations are proposed to reduce the impact on the population, including planning and placing power lines taking into account hygienic standards. Data on international practice and existing approaches to minimizing the harmful effects of electromagnetic radiation on humans are presented. In conclusion, sum ups drawn about the need for further research in the field of hygienic safety of electromagnetic fields generated by power lines and the development of additional measures to protect public health.
