Annotatsiya

Toxicological studies have been carried out on the biomedical safety evaluation of a domestic multi-composite, biodegradable coating for the treatment of penetrating eye injuries. According to the results of the “acute” experiment with intragastric administration of coating solutions at doses of 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, and 5000 mg/kg, LD 50 was not established due to lack of death of animals. The pellicle belongs to the 5th class - almost non-toxic substances.
