Trigeminal neuralgia is one of the actual problems of modern medicine. Trigeminal neuralgia (TNN) is characterized by a severe pain syndrome, and, as a rule, occurs in elderly and senior age. The intensity and suddenness of the appearance of the pain syndrome, the repetitive nature of the attacks leads to physical and mental exhaustion, and for this very reason it is considered as the most hard disease to tolerate. In this regard, today there are many different methods of surgical treatment of TN, and each method has both advantages and disadvantages.
