The article examines the impact of blockchain technology on financial services, highlighting its potential in transforming traditional business models. Blockchain, as a decentralized and secure data storage system, offers new opportunities to increase transparency, security and efficiency of financial transactions. The article analyzes key aspects of blockchain application in various segments of the financial sector, such as banking services, payment systems, lending and insurance. Benefits such as reduced transaction costs, faster processes and reduced fraud risks are discussed. The challenges faced by financial institutions in integrating blockchain technologies, including regulatory issues and compatibility with existing systems, are also discussed. The article concludes by highlighting the importance of further research and development to fully realize the potential of blockchain in the financial sector.
