This article provides comments on global economic problems, the advantages of the transition to a digital economy, several proposals, the emergence of the digital economy, the importance of digital technologies in the world economy and social life, the development of digital platforms, the advantages and disadvantages of the digital economy are analyzed. Based on the analysis, some suggestions for solving existing problems have been developed.
