The article is devoted to the review and analysis of the blockchain technology used in operating systems during the revolutionary transformation of logistics 4.0. It is noted that blockchain technology is the conceptual and technological basis of the Fourth Industrial Revolution; On its basis, many modern technologies are being introduced that determine the vector of transport and logistics development. The main areas of implementation of blockchain in the field of transport logistics are given: asset management, supply chain management, smart contracts, supply chain, data exchange, creating charts and tables, cargo certification. The integration of blockchain technology and smart contracts will be considered. A step-by-step structure of the transition of the transport logistics system to the blockchain is presented. The main principles that must be followed in the introduction of blockchain in the transport 4.0 revolution have been identified.
