As is well known, bone, and arterial, abnormality or a combination of both, may cause a decrease in cerebral blood flow, which in turn leads to early morbidity and loss of efficiency. Many scientists are wondering if the Kimmerle anomaly arises with age, is it an anomaly at all, or is it a kind of defense mechanism? In this review, we examined the work of various scientists regarding the bony jumper of the first cervical vertebra. its occurrence, species, and the effect of its presence on the well-being of patients.
