The article is devoted to the study of the features of models of the nationalinnovation system, in particular the Euro-Atlantic, East Asian, Alternative, Triple Helix Model. Themodern typology of models of the national innovation system has been studied, and thecharacteristic features of each of them have been analyzed. Based on the results of the study, itwas concluded that the key factors of innovative development are various instruments ofgovernment incentives
