Dynamics of the content of short-chain fatty acids in blood serum in patients with lichen planus of the oral cavity against the background of complex treatment

Annotatsiya

Significant changes in the serum levels of serum SCFA were detected in patients with LP, which may indicate their effect on the course and progression of the disease and the induction of exacerbation. Changes in short-chain fatty acids (SCFA) of blood serum after treatment were correlated with positive clinical dynamics and reflected the induction ofthe remission phase of LP in the oral cavity. A more pronounced positive dynamics of serum SCFA in patients who received hepatoprotector in addition to therapy may indicate an increase in the effectiveness of complex treatment of patients.
