A review of studies on the use of osteoplastic materials based on hydroxyapatite and collagen in the restoration of defects in the jaw bones is reviewed. A special place among bioactive ceramics is occupied by hydroxyapatite, which has a high affinity for bone tissue. It has been shown that biocomposite materials based on collagen stimulate osteogenesis and without contraindications, with the exception of individual intolerance. Need to research and improve osteoplastic materials based on the natural components of the bone.
