This article examines the attitude of the political elite to the national-territorial delimitation of Turkestan and the formation of the Uzbek SSR. When posing the question of national-territorial delimitation, the objections of the local elite to the Bolsheviks on various issues and some issues related to territorial disputes were analyzed.
