In the years of independence, the restoration of national values, the widespread introduction of democratic principles, and deep economic reforms began to be implemented. The complex path and historical experience covered in this process are important in the education of the young generation. This article deals with the socio-economic problems of the years of "reconstruction" (1985-1991), which is one of the most difficult and trying years for the Uzbek people, and their reflection in public appeals. At that time, the transparency, the desire for democracy, the need for a government capable of solving real problems were reflected in the appeals of the population. In the article, based on the petitions, the mood of the people, anti-secular, attitude towards the existing system and political processes was analyzed and appropriate scientific conclusions and suggestions were developed.
