This article scientifically highlights the role of museums in the education of children, the organization and development of children's museums in Uzbekistan. In particular, about the activities of the Children's Museum "World of Wonders", functioning under the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan. In addition, children's museums created in many countries of the world, their activities, types and directions were discussed. It is generally recognized that the Children's Museum plays an important role in the development of the child's emotional environment, i. intellect, thinking, speech.
