В статье проанализирована политика Узбекистана, направленная на проведение системных задач по активизации женщин в социально-экономической жизнь страны. Создание условий для ведения частного бизнеса, выраженного первоначально в форме надомного труда с целью возрождения национальных ремесел. Использование труда женщин в производстве сельскохозяйственной продукции, а также в руководстве фермерскими и дехканскими хозяйствами. Проанализирована деятельность женских организаций, направленных на развитие экономической самостоятельности женщин Узбекистана, создание для них условий в вопросах финансирования бизнеса, повышении квалификации и т.д. Освещены вопросы совершенствования системы трудоустройства женщин, посредством привлечения крупных промышленных предприятий для организации труда на дому.
