Within the framework of this article, it is intended to highlight the diplomatic relations between the Emirate of Bukhara and the Russian Empire in the studies of the 60-80-ies of the XX century and to conduct a historiographical analysis. The features of the studies of this period and the factors influencing them are shown. The influence of diplomatic relations between the two countries on the substantive essence of the study of political social processes during this period was analyzed. In particular, the study highlights several embassies, which is of great importance in diplomatic relations between Bukhara and Russia.
