This article is devoted to the analysis of Zoroastrianism, the genesis of its theological system, historiography of the study of the problem, one of the controversial issues of studying the Avesta - the classification of gods and goddesses by their functions, their specific functions, as well as various religious ceremonies and everyday customs of this religion. The historical aspect of the problem has not yet been published internationally.
