Vocabulary is of great importance in the educational process. The teacher acts as a manager and directs the educational process in the interests of students. The teacher should use an appropriate method based on educational principles that help language learners develop vocabulary. The teacher can explain new words using a variety of methods and tools. The article describes methods and means of teaching vocabulary.
