В статье рассматриваются теоретические и практические аспекты бухгалтерского и налогового учета основных средств. Проведён сравнительный анализ подходов к признанию, оценке, амортизации и выбытиям объектов внеоборотных активов в бухгалтерском и налоговом учёте. Особое внимание уделено причинам расхождений между двумя системами и влиянию этих расхождений на финансовую отчетность и налоговые обязательства. На основе выявленных проблем предложены меры по совершенствованию учетной политики, унификации амортизационных подходов и повышению прозрачности учета.
